Nurturing Young Explorers
Welcome to TideView Nature School, where we embrace the wonders of nature to nurture the next generation. Our journey to establishing this unique outdoor school is deeply rooted in our passion for early childhood education and our own experiences as parents.
For over a decade, my husband and I have dedicated ourselves to child education, previously running an international after-school education business. Our fascination with forest schools and alternative educational methods grew as we traveled extensively, witnessing diverse approaches to early childhood education across the globe.
The real turning point came with the birth of our son. Observing him, a high-energy toddler, we saw firsthand the transformative power of nature on a child's well-being. In natural settings, he transformed from restless to focused, his imagination flourishing in the calmness of his surroundings, and he connected with others as he connected with his surroundings. Traditional childcare options fell short in meeting his needs, sparking our resolve to create an environment where children like him could thrive.
TideView Nature School is our dream realized. We cater to children aged 3-5, employing a child-led, place-based approach to learning. Our ethos is simple: let nature be the teacher. Here, children are not just taught; they're inspired to explore, imagine, and connect with the natural world. It's a place where little ones brimming with energy can freely engage with the outdoors, discovering themselves and their environment in the most natural way possible.
