A Day at Our Forest School
Welcome to a day of adventure and discovery! Our forest school program for children aged 5-8 years old offers a dynamic environment where every day is a new journey into the natural world. Whether we're following the children's own interests or exploring a theme set by our leaders, each day is packed with engaging, educational activities that promote a deep connection with nature.

Morning Gathering
We start our day with a circle time, where children can share their thoughts, express their feelings, and discuss what they’re curious about. This is also when we introduce the day’s theme or explore what the children are interested in learning about.
Exploration and Discovery
As we venture into the forest, children engage in guided exploration sessions. They might learn about different plant species, observe wildlife in their natural habitats, or study the way water interacts with the landscape. Each session is designed to spark curiosity and encourage hands-on learning.

Creative Play
After exploration, it’s time for creative play. Depending on the day's theme, children might build shelters from natural materials, create artwork using leaves and mud, or invent their own forest games. This is a time for imagination and creativity to flourish.
Collaborative Projects
Children are encouraged to work together on various projects. This might involve solving a problem, like constructing a bridge across a small stream, or a science activity that teaches them about life cycles or ecosystems.

Reflection and Mindfulness
To wind down the day, we gather for a quiet time of reflection. Children are guided through mindfulness exercises, perhaps sitting quietly, listening to the sounds of the forest, or practicing deep breathing. This helps them relax and absorb all they've learned.

Closing Circle
At the end of the day, we circle back together to share our experiences and learnings. This reinforces a sense of community and gives each child a chance to voice their discoveries and feelings about the day.

Registration Fee Waiver:
To make our program more accessible, we are happy to waive the $70 registration fee for families who enroll their children for three or more days a week or commit to multiple months upfront. This offer is designed to reduce initial costs and encourage long-term engagement.

Sibling Discount:
We understand the financial commitment involved when enrolling multiple children. As part of our commitment to family accessibility, we offer a 10% discount for each additional child from the same family enrolled in our program.
